The motors need to be dissembled, cleaned, and lubricated as they were used out doors. These switches are made in germany a product quality as it used to be. While items are clean, operational, and ready-to-run, the switches may show signs of use including broken tie plates, cracked ties, scratches, scuffs, wear, tarnish, dirt, etc see pictures.

It fits typically into the space of other manufacturers switches, but allows for a larger frog. The lgb turnout motors worked fine on my digital setup when last used, but I have not tested them since. Direct replacement for an lgb r3 right switch radius matches curve track.
