Review LGB Scale Complete Pennsy Overton Train Box Car Drover Caboose

It also has some fading of the gold trim around windows. They would make one type of a train and then not other parts the until years later. I never had the dream layout that always wanted nor did ever get to build ceiling track make.

I have seen them in real life and pictures of. I know this but its why had things like a stupid hammer from when was free shipping of the box that will hold all these cars probably cost me at least 100 or more because insure it as well. I have taken over 15 or more shots of each car because they all are complete and in great shape.

I have no other explanation. Then I ended up as a physician and its because it takes this type of person to remember do 100 things at the same time exactly right.

The first two cars I bought were ones with stickers over them. In the museums you can go inside of these cars and see pot belly stoves they had bathrooms that were really no more than just a hole leading to track below. I have the entire train right here in mint condition. The problem with Lgb is that they never made an entire train in one year.

Then I see four of them go right by here on in the last three months and don't have my pocket to grab it. They were constantly making different trains especially when it came to American. I am so type a that will drive people crazy.

No scratches, defects, bent parts, discoloration other than the one combine which shows some fading of gold around windows you get: I would want to see more photos of course but how on earth can show you what is now over 100 photos. Shot every angle, side, top, bottom, all the trucks and wheels boxes too. They would also use it to carry more heavy durable goods that could damage the luggage. In fact Lionel their genius ha made a pennsy mike that was black and not Brunswick green instead of fixing this error they purposely re created same mistake again.

German spies were caught planning to destroy it because its loss would result in no movement of materials from east west and vise versa. The wood sided box car would go directly behind locomotive to protect passengers from debris, hot cinders or an explosion if boiler blew up. I am very particular when it comes to my Lgb trains. However doesn't like me very much because I will call them on their crap and warn you all that it really does matter who are talking.

My tools are also something that i'm insane over. But I had to build the loco that pulls them. However it has to go and I am not happy about this.

Lgb may have perfected their german stuff but they did not perfect the American trains. The two cars that were supposed to be rankly lakes are true pennsy Lgb just put stickers over original painted gold lettering.

Then I think they made the drovers later in can't believe how many HSBC locos just came and went. The Bobbie caboose sitting at glisten is like a red brown color. These cars are all complete with no issues at since they my true passion.

I have already sold most of my giant collection and this set was to never be. Its Unitas and nothing else however these overton cars were also used by many other railroads as well at the time. Lgb first made the passenger cars themselves having only four digit numbers.

I was given this privy information by a dear friend who owns toy train store. Many do not know the correct answers and will punt as we say in medicine give you answer want to hear get rid of.

Then they would have the luggage car next that was tended to by railroad.

Years go by and then I finally see one. They are over rated and priced when compared to their competitors like math. They look exactly like the one sold as pennsy including car number. I really want to sell this train as a set because these pieces are hard find and bet there folks out who would love buy just that one piece they don't have.

All I can say is that had big plans for this train never happened. They all show perfection without so much as a single scratch. So each car type here had its own purpose and I spent a long time looking for piece since the first original brown pennsy overton cars were made then discontinued.

They never used silver lettering so the letters that came with no name moguls could not be. I think this is because it was made in china at the end of Lgb reign as king scale. Then I was a pilot. I developed another set of photos here to try show you guys what have and really its impossible do with just 12.

Why would somebody do this. The green that they did finally use was called Brunswick and is almost black in color. I will soon have that for sale and anyone who says its wrong can be directed to Strasbourg, pa see a real one OK. This is a result of being ten year army vet as an instructor where everything from sun up to down done by the minute.

I also made the exactly correct mogul steam engine to pull it but have not listed yet. I just bought another car for my other german train that is long arduous wait until the right pops up. There are many errors historically that they didn't know.

All of the cars are c-8 quality and drover caboose is brand new was never used. Ups will only ship a box this big and at weight. The bar on roof was both an antenna and a hand rail. One brown drover caboose c-8 brand new, never used or assembled west germany 4275o seven cars total all matching and without a single scratch.

These trains are all in pristine condition otherwise without so much as a single scratch. They also never painted their locomotives green either. So it took me 12 years to find all the pieces I have here. Yes the brown overton cars with gold lettering is correct or I wouldn't want it.

He told me that the pennsy lettering would be right under stickers and we got real Lgb cardboard red logos put them on two cars. The combine car is weird one. Its ironic because it happens to be one of the oldest in set.

Then the passenger cars would follow this. The caboose design would also allow crew to monitor entire train from above and it contained an area for extra luggage on other side had long pads that doubled as beds. These were never dropped, played with or even touched by anyone but me.

All the cars have perfect sets of trucks, nice spinning wheels with straight axles. I know quite a bit about it and can share any information you would like to the museums famous places see all of these trains in real life. So I must include the shipping cost in my price have taken well over 100 photos to show that these cars are what say they and am trying figure out how at least half of them. Same thing.

It was so hard to get these together I cannot over stress this point. You can see from the photos that roof is even slightly different in color than rest of them. No I don't like Lionel trains.

Finally the train would have drover which also doubled as a communications car. Horseshoe curve is so famous and strategic that it was a target for attack in the American civil war world ii. The drover is brand new and I am leaving stack in its original bag along with couplet set.

The moguls were black as they had not yet started to paint locos because didn't have technology make that would withstand heat. All of the cars are complete so don't worry about not seeing couplets drover cabooses stack. So get your full set of overtones right here in one shot and they all are gorgeous. These were followed by the combines and baggage cars.

This took me 12 long years to get together and I never got use it so want a real collector buy train from. They are now identical to the original pennsy cars all way down number on of these boxed and sleeved except for combine which has no box unfortunately. I doubt it.

Another example is a switcher that was made into every rail name possible but in reality only used by Unitas. There the overton cars are still in use as both a tourist train and used by Hollywood for many old western movies.

The passenger cars are easy to find.

The hardest piece to find was drover and I couldn't believe that found a brand new one never assembled or used. Have a commemorative mistake. Aha Lionel would. Who knows why but the quality of materials are same so my conclusion is that they did use polymers to make car probably under whatever specs Lgb told them do. But do they have the rest of cars.

The same with American mallet.
