Although the engine has light run time, it could use another set of traction tires. Shawmut locomotives can be identified by their signature Red Lettering logo on the front of all custom engines and rolling stock, which features paint type, codes, other modifications as well a unique 4-digit identifier that cross referenced with at anytime. In addition to very high quality painting, Shawmut also performs customized model manufacturing and modifications. This particular engine started life as a normal SD70 before being sent to Shawmut for unique one-off WP Heritage paint job, with all maintenance performed.
