F3b locomotive 9518b, stock number unknown. The a-unit displays prototypical correct red and green running lights, b-unit a small back-up light when in reverse.
Built in large numbers the mid to late 1940s, emd f3s were 1500 hp units that saw almost universal service throughout Americas, and multiple a b unit mashups common across north American railroading landscape. Both units are powered and they bench tested superbly for this listing.
The f3b substitute box is in rather poor condition. The f3 b-unit has its original molded Styrofoam inserts for packaging security, but outer cardboard f3b container box is not available.
