A copy of the instruction sheet from one of the locomotives is included showing how everything works. These were made to operate Lionel's 2 rail scale railsounds equipped diesel and steam locomotives it's made to work by installing a 9 volt battery not included and hooking up the two wires to the track. The sound activator box is in like new condition with no signs of use, but has been tested to insure proper operation.

Remember, this is for Lionel's 2 rail scale trains, and not their 3 rail o gauge trains. Lionel large scale railsounds sound activator box. The sound activator box measures approximately 4 x 3 x 1.
