The uncouple, track and transformer from the original set are not included. It operates as designed with all of the correct hooks and weights. Please see the high-resolution pictures for details. The locomotive has been tested for forward, reverse, light, smoke and all work as designed.

The set includes a 343 Nickel Plate RR Locomotive and Tender, 953R Illuminated Red Utility Car, 934 Die cast metal Flood Light 944 Operating Crane Car 945 Boom with Cab. The 953R Illuminated Red Utility Car was disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, reassembled and illumination tested. The set has been run on a test track and illuminates, smokes, reverses runs as originally designed. The trucks on the 934 Die cast metal Flood Light Car were disassembled cleaned, reassembled and car was illumination tested.

All couplets verified for separability. The tender has been disassembled and cleaned with the following details: wheels, contact strips and frame, reverse unit drum replaced contact finger sand polished handrails. There is minor paint loss on one spot the car deck. The Gilbert American Flyer 343 Locomotive and Tender are in excellent original condition with paint and lettering, Paul-Mir rear wheels.

The locomotive has been disassembled and ultrasonically cleaned with the following details: chassis wheels, resurfaced armature,replaced brushes, replaced light bulb, polished all linkage, handrails, checked smoke chamber and insured correct fasteners in places.
