I don't see anything broken. This is a K-Line K2630-11 SP Southern Pacific Plymouth diesel switcher locomotive. It has directional headlights, so the headlight is on for direction of travel, and off in neutral. No smoke when I tested it.

It comes with the original box as shown. Its a bit runs forward neutral reverse. See the video. The smoke unit does not seem to work.
