Could easily be glued on. I printed out instructions for the set got online and included them. The loose elf has a magnet on bottom of his feet and he attaches to water tanker skating car.

The set also contains a multi function controller, 120 volt transformer and track power clip. Other than the handrail, set looks really good. The train station has a broken handrail on left side step and piece is in box. The track is 24 pieces.

Each car has lights and animation.
