Perhaps they need a bit of lubrication, but nonetheless are fully functional. One note - the consistently fired at 18 volts but didn't release and open until I applied 20. I bought this very nice Lionel C-420 about eighteen months ago and did no more than test service it, then pack it away, consumed by a move from one home to another. I've decided to thin some of my engine inventory and am offering this at an aggressive price $225.95, plus shipping, substantially less than the over $350 I paid eighteen months ago.

The packaging and box are in very good condition, as is all literature the owners manual. It is equipped with dual precision can motors flywheels, durable die-cast trucks, fuel tank and pilots, a sturdy metal frame handrails, detailed molded body, traction tires, operating headlights, fan driven smoke unit, opening cab doors, an engineer figure. Please examine all photos and the video carefully. The locomotives electronics tested out perfectly horn, whistle, Tower com, Crew talk, PMS, , brake/boost, smoke, etc.

I think you'll find its in superb condition considering it was manufactured May 2000.
