Free local pick-up is also available. There is no original box, but I found a photo of the end flap that shows all features this magnificent loco. Anyway, the Mohawk you see here was NEW one, NOT damaged one. Tom never ran it much and shows very little signs of use.

I say most of the time, because will, on some occasions, ship in previously used cartons and may reuse other types packing materials, which best suit item being shipped. However, when the deal was all done and I had paid him trains, he handed me Mohawk said I've really enjoyed this, but I'd like to give it back you now. He wanted to see if we could fix it, but instead, I pulled a brand new one out of the display case, wrapped it up and GAVE Tom, taking damaged loco as an even trade. I've been around for a while a LONG while and I have dived into my last dumpster looking shipping cartons.

What you see is what get. I am including a reprint of the original instructions. I track tested it and runs great, smokes, lights, the sound works along with whistle bell sounds. I've had it for all these years and have decided that is time to let go.

Several years later, around 2006, when Tom was sick and wanted to sell his trains, I bought the bulk of collection. Well, Tom forgot to close it one day and ran the Mohawk right off table onto floor. This loco tender are in absolutely gorgeous condition. Sometime in the early 1990 's, Tom came into Allied model Trains with his Lionel Mohawk.

I figured that he had been a good customer for many years and guess just wanted to do it. BUYER PAYS $25.00 FOR EXPERT PACKING SHIPPING IN THE LOWER 48 USA. I am selling this Lionel Mohawk as-is, as-found. He later hosted The Tomorrow Show on NBC.

We were both train collectors. So, I purchase brand new, 200# test, shipping cartons and use anti-static, 100% BIODEGRADABLE, environmentally friendly, loose fill packing material MOST OF THE TIME. I sometimes use USPS Priority Mail shipping cartons as well. Heres a photo of Tom.
