Not everyone properly signals their layouts, but the Lgb system makes it quite easy to do. If the top green lamp is showing and arms are up signal cleared you can proceed along typically a diverging route. An original copy of the instructions is included, along with two 1015u isolating track pieces for mounting, screws to attach signal drive motor track, labels, diodes and some wire. With the insulating 1015u tracks, power to track can be cut off prevent a train from going into junction.

The track sections look new, unused. This is fully intact, functional and complete was just tested for lights motion. Going further, signals and 1700 trips can even control switches power sections more uses. No buying, waiting, wondering.

A home signal is typically placed at the entrance to junction which governs switching plant interlocking tower. I had some euro Lgb signals on my indoor layout but have converted, this one was used very briefly and in doors only. If the arm is horizontal and light red it means stop stay out of plant.

This is great for unattended operation.
