I really don't know the history of this loco, so ask that you please look photos over and decide for yourself just what may have happened. I track tested the diesel and it runs, with characteristic growl that these things make. I sometimes use USPS Priority Mail shipping cartons as well.
What you see is what get. So, I purchase brand new, 200# test, shipping cartons and use anti-static, 100% BIODEGRADABLE, environmentally friendly, loose fill packing material MOST OF THE TIME. It appears that the entire rear of loco has been broken glued back together. These locos are so difficult to find, that I guess someone made a huge effort fix this one, making it great find for layout service.
This loco has been sitting unused for many years and should be lubricated before any extended use. 21813 Minneapolis St. I've been around for a while a LONG while and I have dived into my last dumpster looking shipping cartons.
