There are two wires inside that probably need connected. It has Porto 3.0 and just under 69 total running hours. I will have it in a bag for you when shipped. The body overall is excellent.
I tested it for movement, sounds, horn and smoke, PFA. The engine starts up, as it is supposed to, all sounds, smoke unit, Porto effects, idle sounds and PFA sequence are perfect. See photo for exact odometer reading. It runs forward and backward nice smooth, HOWEVER the directional are backwards.
This engine has modifications to the original. But it made the opening sounds. I love this engine. I will note all information for you that know of, below.
Probably a simple wire switching. THIS IS PROTO 3.0 NOT 2.0 as on the box. I tested the engine using DCS with a WTIU. I'm only selling because I am setting up a new layout and do not have the time to work on this.
Made by the brand MTH, this AC-powered diesel locomotive features a 3-Rail-2-Conductor system for smooth operation. Reverse button, it goes forward, forward backwards. With a corporate road name of Maersk, this engine is great addition to any model railroad collection for enthusiasts trains and locomotives.
I have no way to test that. Speaker is crisp and loud. Being that this is modified I must sell as PARTS ONLY AS IS. The back couplet worked but the front did not open when activated.
I tested the engine on my MTH DCS system with WTIU. BUT It has the THREE RAIL CONVERSION PICKUPS AND TRCU WHEELS. Please see any pictures provided. Those and all variations worked flawlessly.
